When is the best time to plant the lettuce?
A prisoner in jail received a letter from his wife. “I have decided to plant some lettuce in the back garden. When is the best time to plant it?” The prisoner, knowing that the prison guards read all the mail, replied in a letter, “Dear wife, whatever you do, do not touch the back garden. That is where I hid all the gold.” A week or so later, he received another letter from his wife. “You wouldn’t believe what happened, some men came with shovels to the house, and dug up the back garden!” The prisoner wrote anther letter. “Dear wife, now is the best time to plant the lettuce.” -------------------- Optimistic is my color We spend our time on something from dawn to dark Day in and day out Sun rise and down Make an own goal to confront life Self-discovery is the first step toward self-appreciation 成功只会降临在自认为会成功的人身上 |

Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October 1995. Radio conversation released by the chief of naval operations, 10-10-95. CANADIANS: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision. AMERICANS: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the north to avoid a collision. CANADIANS: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision. AMERICANS: This is the captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course. CANADIANS: No, I say again, you divert YOUR course. AMERICANS: This is the Aircraft Carrier US LINCOLN, the second largest ship in the United States Atlantic Fleet. We are accompanied with three Destroyers, three Cruisers and numerous support vessels. I DEMAND that you change your course 15 degrees north. I say again, that's one-five degrees north, or counter-measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship. CANADIANS: This is a lighthouse.
